This section of the site is dedicated to those who chose to try and 'hack' Halo Servers with scripts. Their name(s), IP's, and Proxies (if applicable) are listed below in an effort to let others know which IP's and IP ranges to ban from their servers. We hope that this can help some other server operators out in advance.

What exactly are they doing?

Well, there are people who made / found errors in the coding / making of Halo games. So therefore make a program that will cause that error, so that gaming companies fix the error to possibly make that or future games even better.

Like Halo Loop 3 --- The Halo server is affected by a problem in the handling of a type of packet which can cause the bypassing of a check used to avoid the reading of data outside the packet. The result is an endless loop which freezes the application with CPU at 100%.

People who try to "hack" or to "be funny" use these programs as a "prank" and shutdown servers just for fun, or because they are mad at the person / clan, for pwning, owning, or kicking them out of the clan.

So Numerous servers will shutdown, and halo will be once again, RUINED!

Since we know what causes the problem, and where the "error" exactly is, people like Brandinimp [BMP] and his team Vivid-Abstractions [V-A] solve the problem by comming out with patches for the error. They will be either posted Here, on the original post, on the V-A site or in our HFolder

By applying the patches, you will be invulnerable to these errors in coding, but if for some reason you still have people bugging you, messing up your server, or messing with the players, you can still BAN their IP's!

How you ask?

Well. if you have a router, you can read the manual and see how to log in to it, and BAN IP's from connecting to your PC / Network.

OR

If you have a Firewall, like Norton, McAfee, or Comodo, you can instantly block the IP's or IP Ranges from connecting to your PC / Network.

use haloloop3 and get hacked
